Thea 2 is a mixture of 4X, RPG, card game and rogue-like – it’s one of its kind no game is quite like it.
If you like some or even all of those you should definitely check it out.
The game has amazing replayability.
This game is rather complex and difficult to describe, please keep in mind that this description is hardly complete, but hopefully, it will offer you some insights regarding the game to help you decide your next action (to buy or not to buy, of course).

All of the maps under go procedural generation, so no game will be the same.

The battles are turn-based and use cards, similarly to Thea 1. The battles are broken into separate phases, and it will take some time to get used to and familiarize yourself with the steps.

The game does offer a few tutorials to show you the basics of the game. This is absolutely crucial because it takes some time to learn all of the complexities. (If you want to learn the basics on a polished game, the first game is a good option.)

The game can be played as single-player or multiplayer.

There are many options to choose from, and the game can be adjusted to how you wish to play.

The cons ones:
-Too few events. The game feels like it’s lacking ALOT of events, I expect more than the first game, not less.
-The village is basically pointless, especially since the few events related to them are mostly negative.
-The cap on rare races/classes. It’s an rng game. Let us mess it up!
-God’s having a little impact. Haven’t really noticed much of a difference between them.
-Too little enemy variation.
-On higher difficulties, you quite quickly just end up facing Leshy’s repeatedly and thus only gaining Leshy loot = Leshy equipment.
-More variation would make the playthroughs more different.

With that said. It’s a pretty awesome game to throw away a couple of 100 hours on.
